Market Cross Shopping Centre has always been a community focused shopping centre and in the past have held and supported many events to support the local community raising over €17,000.
2009 – Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Raised €2,000 for the St Luke’s Hospital Paediatrics Ward.
2010 – Charity Fund Raisers
Ice Cream Fund raiser for Down syndrome Ireland – Raised €1,000
2010 – Teddy Bears Picnic in Aid of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin
Monies Raised €2750.00
2010 – Girls Night Out Fashion Show
Proceeds went to SOS and School of the Holy Spirit €4,500
2011 – Teddy Bear’s Picnic
To Raise Money for Cystic Fibrosis helping towards funding 4 Research Projects which are helping in the vital search for a greater understanding of CF. Monies Raised 1,500
2012 – Fashion Show
Proceeds went to CBS Boys School & St. Canice’s Primary School – Funds Raised €4,000
2013 – Safari So Good
May Family Fun Event – Funds Raised for Autism Ireland. Monies Raised on the day €1,000.00
2015 – Family Fun Day
In Aid of the Thomas Hayes Trust – Raised €850.00 0n the day.
2016 – Gaelscoil Osrai
Is intending on building a new library and it needs to be fully equipped with durable and comfortable furniture for the children. We are one of the sponsors in this project.
