Hello Readers Michael Browne here
If you are reading for the first time welcome! For those of you who follow my blog welcome back!
I’ve had the pleasure of recently shooting fashion in Market Cross. I met and worked with lots of different people and members of the public (that’s you) to create a Summer Fashion festival vibe photoshoot …. Here’s hoping we get back some sun for our next endeavor. Each of the stores fashions and outfits were put together and created by the amazingly “clued into style staff” in the Market Cross. I hope the stores and ‘’you’’ the public know how lucky you are to have such great staff on hand helping you ensure that your fashion is on-trend and your style on fleek. They have inside knowledge of the latest trends and are always on hand to offer personalized style advice
The fashion shoot itself was a mammoth task as we wanted to fit the best of what the stores have to offer. We started by collecting the garments from each store, making sure to keep the models sporting some fashion forward hair looks. Aoife sporting a natural pastel purple shade created by Louise using a denim toner (sounds mad, but very calm and natural you will see in photos) and Cal our male model sporting the metallic man braid …very slick!
Both the models hair was prepped and styled on site in the Market Cross’s Peter Mark store by stylist Michelle Lawrence who changed our female model’s hair from look to look. Michelle you are a legend!
Michelle can be found on Instagram as shellepmhair@instagram – CHECK HER OUR FOR LATEST Hair Trend Updates. On the subject of legends Peter Mark are giving free consultations for “Rapture” Hair extensions. These truly are invisible!!! On the day of the launch I had the pleasure of photographing the event and got to see up close, these awesome hair extensions, not only are you getting a free consultation but also a free color ID so you and your colorist are always on point and looking fab! For you festival goers get your summer self into Peter Mark there offering €10.00 color pop perfect for the weekend festivities,
I had a lot of fun applying the makeup on our models, with our Male model Cal it’s just a matter of shine control, with Aoife I got to do what I do best and play with makeup we had everything we needed from Penney’s own makeup range and I used their fantastic brushes for application, I really enjoyed working in the public view, this way you or anyone could & did ask questions until your heart was content & this is why I love people interaction and a lot of you did pick my brain.( I would also like to extend a thank you to whomever you are that came and watched the live shoot, said hi, asked questions please do come back and join us when we do it again).
I have a new love in my life and it is the many new makeup products & tools of the trade which are available in Penney’s between the new Ps range of brushes and the pro makeup range (available in top four stores in Dublin) you don’t need to deplete your bank account to achieve a red carpet look or indeed a photoshoot- look as we did two weeks back, just a little know-how and that’s where I come in to answer any questions no matter how small, there are no silly questions you can contact me via the Market Cross website or their Facebook page or also by my own Facebook, michaelbrownemakeupartist@facebook
